Angel
In The Dark
The rain begins to
fall
and all around me I
feel the walls
start
to close in on me.
It's the start
of another lonely night
without you.
Please don't stay
away
too long.
The emptiness is
unbearable.
You never knew
how your warm embrace
delivered me
from
the hungry vulture's glare.
You saved me in time
to
salvage what little life
I
had
left in me.
With the
kindness
and
patience of an angel
you've
brought me back.
How can I ever
repay
you?
