Hello ...

I saw you from a distance
and watched you for hours ...
    you didn't even know I was there.

I watched every move you made ...
    the way you smiled and laughed,

the expression in your eyes

every time you spoke.

I wanted to reach out to you

    hoping you'd notice me

and perhaps
share some of that charm with me.
But I remained silent

    in my thoughts for you ...

wishing I had the courage

to break the ice.
