I'm
Only Me
When you look at me
take off your rose-colored glasses,
take away any visionary diversion
that might make me bigger than life.
I'm only me.
Nothing else.
I won't let
myself be
designed
or
molded
or created by others.
Not by you
or
anyone.
I don't like running
races
with
the likes of Clark Kent
to
impress some imaginary Lois Lane.
I just want to
be me.
Accept me for that
or
forget it.
